Anti-parasite treatment

Parasites are organisms that live to the detriment of the host carrying them. They can live on the skin of the host (external parasites) or inside the tissues of the host (internal parasites). It is important to maintain regular anti-parasite control since parasites pose serious risks both for the health of pets and their fellow humans.

External parasites: Fleas, ticks, lice and mites are not only a source of huge annoyance but they can also cause skin infections, anemia through blood sucking and transmit life threatening diseases such as Ehrlichiosis.

Internal parasites: Intestinal worms, heart worm, lung worm as well as protozoa such as Leishmania and Toxoplasma are often inside the body of the animal not showing any apparent symptoms until the infestation is heavy.
